We are a small phone repair shop in Robertson. We keep this simple and honest, the same way we run the shop. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you book a repair: your name, WhatsApp/phone number, your phone's model and problem, and — only for pickup & delivery — your street address and a pickup time.
When you chat with us (WhatsApp or the chat on this website): the messages you send us, so we can help you and remember your booking.
When you join the course list: your name and WhatsApp number, so we can tell you when the course date is announced.

What we do NOT collect

Card details. Card payments happen on Yoco's secure payment page. Your card number never reaches us and we never ask for it in chat.
We don't use advertising trackers or sell your information to anyone. Ever.

Why we use your information

To quote you, book your repair, fetch and return your phone, and send you updates on your tracking code.
To notify you about the repair course if you asked us to.
Nothing else. We don't send spam.

Who we share it with

Yoco processes card payments (their privacy policy applies on their payment page).
WhatsApp carries our conversations (their terms apply to the WhatsApp service itself).
Nobody else. No marketing lists, no data brokers.

How long we keep it

Repair records are kept for our bookkeeping and warranty purposes. Chat history is kept only as long as needed to help you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below) — we'll keep only what the law requires us to keep for tax records.

Your rights (POPIA)

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just send us a WhatsApp at 060 134 9326 or visit the shop at 27F Hoop Street, Robertson.

This website

The chat on this site stores a random session ID in your browser so the conversation can continue if you reload the page. It identifies your browser, not you. The map on the contact section is loaded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies per Google's policies.
