1. Quotes & prices
- Screen prices quoted in chat come from our real price list for your exact model. A quote is confirmed when we've seen the phone โ if we find more damage than described, we'll tell you the honest price before doing any work.
- Diagnosis is free. If you decide not to repair after diagnosis, you owe nothing (except a pickup/delivery fee already used).
2. Pickup & delivery (Robertson only)
- Pickup & delivery costs R35 and is available inside Robertson only.
- A R100 deposit (card or cash at collection) secures a pickup booking. The deposit counts toward your final repair price โ it is not an extra charge.
- If the phone can't be fixed, we bring it back to you; the deposit less the R35 trip fee is returned.
3. Repairs & warranty
- Every repair is backed by our workmanship warranty โ if our repair or the part we fitted fails under normal use, bring it back and we make it right. Ask in store for the warranty period on your specific repair.
- The warranty does not cover new damage: new drops, cracks, liquid damage, or tampering by someone else after our repair.
- Water-damaged and severely damaged phones are repaired on a best-effort basis โ we'll always tell you honestly what the chances are before you spend money.
4. Your data on the phone
Please back up your phone before any repair if you can. We never go looking through your phone, but we can't guarantee data on a damaged device โ especially water damage and dead motherboards.
5. Uncollected devices
Please collect your phone within 60 days of us telling you it's ready. After 90 days without contact, uncollected devices may be sold to cover the repair and storage costs.
6. Payments
- We accept card via secure Yoco payment link, EFT (use your NAME as reference and send proof of payment), and cash.
- We never ask for card numbers in chat. Only pay through the official Yoco link we send, or in person.
7. The repair course (when booking opens)
- Course seats are only secured by a paid deposit. The deposit is non-refundable, but transfers once to the next course date if you cancel more than 7 days before.
- If we cancel or move the course: full refund or free transfer โ your choice, honoured immediately.
- Joining the notify list on this website is free and is not a booking.
8. The chat assistants
The chat on this website and on WhatsApp is an automated assistant of the shop. It quotes from our real price list, but any obvious error (for example a clearly wrong price caused by a technical fault) is corrected by the shop and doesn't bind us to sell at that price. When in doubt, the owner's word at the counter is final.
